Scholarships for secondary teaching degrees
There are scholarships to support secondary and specialist initial teacher education students who enrol in 2024 and 2025 with the cost of studying and living. Secondary Teaching Scholarships study phase is closed.
Secondary and specialist teaching students enrolling in 2024 and 2025 are supported with financial assistance to help grow and develop Victoria’s next generation of teachers.
About Secondary Teaching Scholarships
The Secondary Teaching Scholarships (STS) program provides financial support to students studying secondary or specialist teaching. Eligible students can receive payments to help cover the costs of study and living while completing their degree.
Students must apply during the designated application periods for the year they are enrolled. Applications are assessed against the program guidelines, and successful applicants will receive scholarship payments in line with their study and placement requirements.
The program is designed to encourage more students to pursue careers in secondary and specialist teaching, helping Victoria build a skilled and committed teaching workforce.
