Victoria’s road safety camera system consists of both fixed and mobile cameras placed at carefully chosen locations.

Road safety camera accuracy

Road safety cameras across the Victorian network are regularly tested for accuracy to confirm the equipment is working properly. Potential offences are thoroughly scrutinised and verified.

If you receive a speeding, red light or unregistered vehicle fine, you should take action to deal with your fine.

Saving lives and road safety

The Victorian Government is investing more than $720 million to keep Victorians safe on the roads, including more than $100 million for infrastructure that will protect vulnerable road users.
