Child abuse can take many forms. See types of child abuse and what to look for.
It is important that you adapt to changing circumstances, such as when you identify new information or the risk to the student or family changes.
To adapt to changing circumstances, you may need to:
- switch to a different source of abuse
- change the order of the critical actions
- undertake more than one of the critical actions at the same time
- repeat one or more of the critical actions
- repeat steps within a critical action – for example share information with Information Sharing Entities.
