What is the Savings Finder?
The Savings Finder is a tool offered by the Victorian Government to help you quickly and simply understand the rebates, discounts and savings that are available to you. By answering a few questions about yourself, you will receive a list of possible savings across energy, health, education, transport, families and more.
How to use the Savings Finder
- Visit the Savings Finder tool on the Service Victoria website or app
- Answer a few simple questions: the Savings Finder tool will ask you the following questions to understand your situation:
- How old are you?
- Are you responsible for any children or other legal dependants?
- Are you currently a student or looking to study soon? Or is one of your children or dependants currently a student?
- Are you interested in learning about potential benefits and savings for your health and well being?
- Do you pay for any of the following bills or expenses?
- How do you regularly get around?
- How do you pay for your household and what other expenses do you have?
- Do you have any of these concession or pension cards?
- Receive personalised results: letting us know a few details about yourself will help us tell you what you’re eligible for.
- Option to save your results: send yourself an email so you can come back to your personalised list of savings at any time.
