Performance measures
The annual surveys help the VSA develop performance measures for the Victorian training system. They provide an evidence base for policy development and are a key input into VSA’s products and processes.
The VSA uses the performance measures to:
- improve quality and outcomes in the Victorian training system through funding, regulation, and innovation
- improve the connection between skills, future jobs and economic growth
- respond to changes in demands for workforce skills.
Training providers use the performance measures to:
- better understand how they are performing
- implement strategies and processes to improve the quality of training and meet the needs of students and employers.
