Register for the Premiers’ Reading Challenge

Early childhood (from birth to the year before school)

Parents, guardians and early childhood services can register young children to take part in the Challenge. See Register a young child to take part in the Challenge.

You don’t need to record book titles online but you can keep a record of books that have been read together. One month before the challenge ends you’ll receive an email asking you to login and confirm that 40 books have been read.

School-aged students (Prep to Year 10)

Please speak to your child’s school to find out if they will be participating this year.

If your school isn’t participating, or if you’re home schooled, you can still take part. Your parents or guardians can register you as a home-based reader.
