About the Royal Commission into Family Violence

Australia’s first Royal Commission into Family Violence was completed in 2015. On 28 January 2023, the Victorian Government implemented all 227 recommendations.

Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme reviews

The Family Violence Protection Act 2008 requires that independent reviews of the operation of the Scheme be tabled in Parliament at two and five years after commencement of the scheme.

We conduct a regular census of workforces that intersect with family violence prevention.
