Programs for students with disability

Additional support and funding programs are available for students with disability. Find out more and if your child is eligible.

Fighting for Students with Disability and their Families

The Fighting for Students with Disability and their Families package supports students living with disability, their carers and families.

The NDIS and schools

If you have questions about your child’s development or they have a disability, your child may be eligible for support from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Disability program support groups

If your child has a disability or additional needs, a program support group can help them get the right support at kindergarten.

Program for Students with Disabilities (PSD)

The Program for Students with Disabilities gives government schools extra funding to help them support students with disability and high needs.

Disability Inclusion: support for students with disability

Disability Inclusion is part of the Government’s approach to inclusive education. It provides extra support for students with disability in Victorian Government schools.
