How your renewal fee is calculated
Your annual renewal fee is made up of:
- a base fee (based on your licence type) plus
- risk fees that may apply to your venue.
You get a discount if you have a 4 or 5 star rating (unless your venue provides sexually explicit entertainment).
Fees and discounts
These fees are set under the Liquor Control Reform Regulations 2023.
If your venue provides sexually explicit entertainment, your fee is calculated in a different way under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.

Find out what breaches result in demerit points.
