New Servo Saver updates help Victorians save at the pump
Find savings with the Service Victoria app Published: Tuesday 10 March 2026 at 10:43 am

Victorian motorists can now make even smarter choices at the bowser, with new updates to Servo Saver live across the state from 10 March.
Available in the Service Victoria app, Servo Saver lets motorists compare fuel prices from more than 1,500 registered fuel retailers across Victoria. The latest updates give motorists earlier and clearer price information – helping households manage fuel costs during cost-of-living pressures.
What’s new
The updates build on Victoria’s mandatory fuel price reporting reforms and introduce practical new features, including:
- tomorrow’s price cap – the maximum price a fuel retailer can charge per fuel type the next day
- earlier visibility of price information, giving drivers more time to plan when and where to refuel
- service station opening hours displayed alongside fuel prices, so you can check before you go.
These improvements help Victorians avoid unexpected price spikes and choose the best time to refuel.
Reliable fuel information in one place
Servo Saver brings together accurate, up-to-date fuel price data so motorists can compare nearby fuel prices, plan fuel stops around work, school runs and travel and make informed decisions before leaving home.
It’s ad-free, easy-to-use, and designed to be fair for both motorists and fuel retailers. Servo Saver is the only fuel comparison app that fuel retailers are required by law to update.
Supporting fairer fuel prices
Consumer Affairs Victoria is supporting fuel retailers to understand and meet their new obligations. It will continue to monitor compliance and enforce the law to ensure prices are reported accurately and on time. This helps give motorists confidence that the information shown in Servo Saver is reliable.
