More homes for Victorians

Housing is one of the biggest challenges we face in Victoria. We need to build more homes each year over the next 10 years to increase housing supply and meet our needs as a growing state.

Opening doors to get you in a new home sooner

The Victorian Government is opening doors, so more Victorians can open the door to their own home. That means planning more homes in the communities you want to live, close to trams, trains ands services. Slashing stamp duty on off-the-plan apartments and townhouses and for first home buyers, $10,000 if you’re buying or building a new home.
