The Victorian Government CIO forum is an event series for CIOs and information security leads from across the Victorian public service. It’s hosted on the Innovation Network.

The Information Security Advisory Group (ISAG) advises the CIO Leadership Group on cyber security issues.

It’s also a forum for government information security professionals to:

ISAG is convened by the Department of Premier and Cabinet Cyber Security Unit.

The Joint Cyber Security Centre (JCSC) program is a partnership between business, government, academia and other key partners to enhance collaboration on cyber security.

The JCSCs provide a range of services and support to Australian Cyber Security Centre partners, with centres in most capital cities across Australia.

The program is a central initiative of the Australian Government’s Cyber Security Strategy to bring together business and the research community along with state, territory and Commonwealth agencies in an open and cooperative environment.

Office of the Victorian Information Commissioner

Victoria’s primary regulator and source of independent advice to the community and Victorian government about how the public sector collects, uses and shares information.

VAGO conducts audits to ensure that public sector entities are transparentand accountable to the Victorian Parliament and the community.

VMIA - insurance and risk advice

VMIA partners with government departments and agencies to identify and mitigate harm and manage state-significant risks.
