Supply can mean to sell, give away, dispose of or possess.
Before you start, you might want to check if you need a liquor licence.
Venues
There are flexible options if you want customers to buy or bring alcohol to drink at your venue.
Restaurant and cafe liquor licence
Supply alcohol where your main activity is serving meals.
General liquor licence
Supply alcohol to drink at your venue or take away.
On-premises liquor licence
Supply alcohol to drink at your venue with no requirement to serve meals.
Club liquor licence
Supply alcohol for members to drink at your sporting, social or commercial club.
Renewable limited liquor licence
Supply alcohol in a limited or restricted way.
BYO permit
Allow customers to bring their own alcohol to your venue.
Supply alcohol late at night
Find out which licence types allow you to trade after 1 am.
Events
Temporary limited liquor licence
Supply alcohol at a one-off or short run of events.
Major event liquor licence
Supply alcohol at a big event with 5,000 people or more.
Take away or delivery
Remote seller’s liquor licence
Sell alcohol to the public by phone, app or online only.
Packaged liquor licence
Sell packaged alcohol (for example, bottles of wine, 6-packs of beer) in a physical shop or online.
Pre-retail liquor licence
Sell alcohol wholesale to other licensees.
Alcohol you make
Producer’s liquor licence
Sell alcohol you make or direct someone else to make, retail or wholesale.
