Preschool Field Officers (PSFOs) provide short-term guidance and coaching to early childhood educators. This support aims to improve the inclusion of children with additional needs.
Program support groups in kindergarten
Program support group (PSG) in an inclusion of children with disability or developmental delay, or complex medical needs, from the time of enrolment at kindergarten until they move to school.
Kindergarten Inclusion Support (KIS) Specialised Equipment Program (SEP)
Specialised equipment is available for kindergarten services to borrow. The program aims to improve the inclusion of children with significant disabilities.
Early Childhood Language Services
Free on-site, telephone and video interpreters are available for all department funded kindergarten services and eligible early childhood support services.
