Advisory councils and committees: Department of Education

We work in conjunction with a number of advisory councils.

Assists the department secretary in fulfilling oversight and governance responsibilities, and obligations under the Financial Management Act 1994.

The group provides input, advice and feedback into the government school education system.

This office helps resolve escalated complex disputes involving students and their Victorian government school.

Provides advice to the Minister for Education on regulatory, policy and funding issues that affect government and non-government schools.

Expert advice for ministers relating to policies and services that enhance the health, wellbeing, development and safety of children in Victoria.

Provides feedback to us and the VRQA about the regulation of home schooling.
