قطاع يمر بمرحلة انتقالية
في عام 2024، تطوع 3.3 مليون شخص في ولاية فيكتوريا. ساهموا بأكثر من 732 مليون ساعة تطوعية للمجتمع المحلي. يمثل هذا ما يقرب من 60٪ من سكان ولاية فيكتوريا الذين تزيد أعمارهم عن 15 عامًا.
تُظهر هذه الأرقام أن العمل التطوعي يتعافى بعد انخفاض كبير خلال جائحة COVID-19.
المزيد من المتطوعين الشباب
يتطوع الشباب الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 15 و24 عامًا بمعدلات عالية. في عام 2024، تطوع ما يقرب من 7 من كل 10 شباب بوقتهم لمساعدة الآخرين. هذا أعلى معدل مشاركة في أي فئة عمرية.
المتطوعون أكثر عزمًا وتركيزًا على ترك أثر
يريد المتطوعون أدوارًا ذات معنى وتأثير. تشمل الدوافع الأكثر شيوعًا للتطوع ما يلي:
- مساعدة الآخرين (62٪)

زيادة التطوع غير الرسمي
المزيد من الناس يتطوعون بشكل غير رسمي. في عام 2024، شارك ما يقرب من نصف جميع المتطوعين في التطوع بشكل غير رسمي.
كما أن التطوع عبر الإنترنت آخذ في الازدياد، حيث يتبرع واحد من كل أربعة متطوعين بالوقت عن بعد.
المتطوعون يبحثون عن التواصل والمجتمع والشمول
