Visit to Victoria by Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Melbourne on Thursday 18 October 2018. Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Melbourne on Thursday 18 October 2018 during their visit to Australia for the Invictus Games.

At Government House they met with young Victorians and viewed an exhibition of VicHealth’s ‘This Girl Can – Victoria’campaign.

At social enterprise restaurant Charcoal Lane they learnt about the difference the restaurant is making in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth. They also tasted native ingredients used in cultural cooking.

At Albert Park Primary School, Grade 6 Sustainability Leaders showcased the school’s ‘Paradise’ garden.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also took a ride on the Number 1 tram to South Melbourne Beach where they met with local school children and leaders from the local beach clean-up group Beach Patrol.
