If you’re thinking about starting a TAFE or training course, the TAFE and Training Line can help you with:
- finding a course or training provider
- information about eligibility for government-subsidised training
- referrals to other career advice services.
Help for current students
If you’re currently doing a TAFE or training course, the TAFE and Training Line can help you with:
- information about the complaints process for TAFEs and training providers
- what to do if your training provider closes down.
TAFE and Training Line Customer Charter
The TAFE and Training Line is a free Victorian Government service.
We provide high quality information about training courses, training providers and government funding eligibility.
We can connect you with career advice and support services, including Skills and Jobs Centres.
Our Customer Charter
Our customer charter sets out our commitment to help you find your way through the training and skills system.
We will ask you about your needs, what you are interested in and your circumstances so we can give you the right information to achieve your goals.
We can connect you with information and support services close to where you live.
Our services are for:
- Victorian learners, including current and prospective students
- People looking for information about Victorian training including courses, providers and eligibility for government funding
- Training providers.
We can help you with:
- Finding a course or training provider
- Information about eligibility for government-subsidised training
- Referrals to other career advice services.
If you are an employer, we can help you with:
- Workforce development through upskilling and reskilling your employees
- Connecting with local, place-based skills and labour solutions
- Referrals to other career and employment services.

Feedback – compliments and complaints
We take complaints seriously and respond within a timely manner. We provide information and advice about the complaints handling process for training providers.
