Sunshine stimulus projects

The Victorian Government is providing Brimbank City Council and Maribyrnong City Council over $5.5 million in stimulus funding to help upgrade and build new cycling paths and improve open space in Sunshine, demonstrating its early commitment to the vision for the Sunshine Precinct. The Sunshine Precinct Activation projects, to be delivered under the $2.7 billion Building Works package, brings forward the delivery and construction of active transport infrastructure works while creating jobs.

Brimbank and Maribyrnong City Councils will each deliver the planned new and upgraded on-road and off-road cycling and walking paths.
