South West Tech School
The new South West Tech School will be completed in Term 3, 2026. Located at South West TAFE, Warrnambool campus, the Tech School will connect local students to their futures by providing free access to innovative, hands-on STEM learning for all secondary students in the Warrnambool, Corangamite, Glenelg, Moyne and Southern Grampians local government areas.

- Term 2: State Budget investment of $116 million to build 6 new Tech Schools and establish a Clean Energy Equipment Fund.
- Term 4: Tech School Director appointed.

2024
- Term 1: Consultation and co-design meetings for facility and program design began.

2025
- Term 3: Tech School programs are developed and piloted with input from local schools, industry and community leaders.
- Term 4: Construction of Tech School begins.

2026
- Term 3: South West Tech School is completed.
