Regional Skills Demand Profiles
Shaping the profiles of skills gaps and opportunities in the regions The Regional Skills Demand Profiles were developed in partnership with Regional Development Victoria alongside more than 500 regional businesses and other local experts to better understand the skills and training needs of regional employers across Victoria. Shorter, summary snapshots are also available for each region.
Profiles for the Mallee and Great South Coast were released in 2017 and 2018, with remaining profiles released in 2023.
As detailed in each profile, data is cross-referenced across multiple sources. Each skills profile identifies historical trends and long-term priorities underpinned by rigorous data analysis.
