ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰਨਾਰਥੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਣ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਰਲੀ ਸਟਾਰਟ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ (ESK) ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ESK ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ “Free Kinder” ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਘੰਟੇ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਦੇਣੀ ਹੈ
ESK ਯੋਗਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਕਿੰਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਲੀ ਸਟਾਰਟ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਗ੍ਰਾਂਟ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੁੱਛ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਕਿੰਡਰ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ।
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ 1800 338 663 ‘ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਤਿੰਨ-ਸਾਲਾਂ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਦੀ ਇਨਕੁਆਰੀ ਲਾਈਨ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਆਪਣੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਦਦ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਭਾਸ਼ੀਆ ਸੇਵਾ (ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਲੇਟਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਇੰਟਰਪ੍ਰੇਟਿੰਗ ਸਰਵਿਸ) ਨੂੰ 131 450 ‘ਤੇ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ, ਉਸ ਦੁਭਾਸ਼ੀਏ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਜਾਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਨੰਬਰ ‘ਤੇ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੁਭਾਸ਼ੀਆ ਉਸ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜ਼ੂਦ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਕਦੋਂ ਦੇਣੀ ਹੈ
ਜੇਕਰ ਬੱਚਾ ਤਿੰਨ-ਸਾਲਾ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ‘ਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ 30 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ESK ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ। ‘ਕਦੋਂ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਹੈ’ ਦੇਖੋ।
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੋਂ 30 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੁਣ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸ ਸਾਲ ਤਿੰਨ-ਸਾਲਾ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਤਿੰਨ-ਸਾਲਾ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਉਸੇ ਸਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਸਾਲ ਉਹ 3 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਸਾਲ ਉਹ 4 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਤਿੰਨ-ਸਾਲਾ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਉਸ ਸਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਸਾਲ ਉਹ 3 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਸਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਸਾਲ ਉਹ 5 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ-ਸਾਲਾ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਸਾਲ ਭੇਜਣਾ ਚੁਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਿਸ ਸਾਲ ਉਹ 4 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਸਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਸਾਲ ਉਹ 6 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਦਦ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬੱਚਾ ESK ਲਈ ਕਦੋਂ ਯੋਗ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਕੌਂਸਲ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜੱਚਾ-ਬੱਚਾ ਸਿਹਤ ਨਰਸ, ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿੰਡਰ, ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿਚਲੀਆਂ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

ਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ-ਸਾਲਾ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ?
ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਰਲੀ ਸਟਾਰਟ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਜਾਂ ਘੱਟ ਕੀਮਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਚਾਰ-ਸਾਲਾ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ। ਚਾਰ-ਸਾਲਾ-ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ 2025 ਤੋਂ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਪ੍ਰੈਪ ਬਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। 2026 ਵਿੱਚ, ਹਰ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ 25 ਘੰਟੇ ਤੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਪ੍ਰੈਪ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ:
- ਸ਼ਰਨਾਰਥੀ ਜਾਂ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ
- ਆਦਿਵਾਸੀ ਅਤੇ/ਜਾਂ ਟੋਰੇਸ ਸਟ੍ਰੇਟ ਆਈਲੈਂਡਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਪਛਾਣ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ
- ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਬਾਲ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਸੀ
ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ESK ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਗਾਰੰਟੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਹਰ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਵਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਪ੍ਰੈਪ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਵਿਕਟੋਰੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਣ। ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਪ੍ਰੈਪ ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ESK ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
