There is growing demand across Victoria for workers with clean energy skills.

The new Building Innovation and Design Centre at South West TAFE will give more students in regional Victoria the opportunity to train closer to home for a rewarding automotive or construction career, with a focus on clean energy.

The Centre will include a large automotive workshop including a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) workshop space.

There will also be flexible classrooms for building and construction students to train in modern construction technologies.

Construction has started on the Building Innovation and Design Centre. It will be at South West TAFE’s Sherwood Park campus in Warrnambool. It is expected to open for training in 2027.
