Hi, my name is Kathy, I am a mum of two kids.
My son Lachlan has attended Three-Year-Old Kinder. Now he is attending a kindergarten program for Four-Year-Olds.
We found out about the three-year-old program when we started looking for a childcare centre for Lachlan.
The website has some great information about how to enroll. There’s also a map to find kinders in your area.
You can also enter the date of birth of your child and it will let you know when they can start Three-Year-Old kindergarten.
All children who turn 3 years of age before the 30th of April are eligible for Three-Year-Old kinder for that year.
We got in touch with some services nearby from the map and were told more about their kindergarten programs and how to enrol.
SOME TIPS
You should plan ahead and try and get your enrolments in early.
There are also some Chinese resources on the website. You can share these with friends who might be interested in kindergarten.
Lachlan is now attending the Four-Year-Old Kinder. All the skills he is learning means that he is becoming more independent, and we know he will be ready when he starts school next year.
