https://player.vimeo.com/video/740960298

Hi, my name is Wenfei, a mum of three. I live with my husband and 3 kids in Melbourne. We’ve been in Australia for over 7 years.
My daughter Anne has attended Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. Now she is attending a kindergarten program for Four-Year-Olds.
We found out about the Three-Year-Old Kindergarten program when we started looking for a childcare centre for Anne.
The website has some great information about how to enrol. There’s also a map to find kinders in your area.
You can also enter the date of birth of your child, and the calculator will let you know when they can start There-Year-Old kindergarten.
All children who turn 3 years of age before the 30th of April are eligible for Three-Year-Old kinder for that year.
We got in touch with some services nearby and were told more about their kindergarten programs. We then started the enrolment process.
SOME TIPS
You should plan ahead and try and get your enrolments in early.
There are also some Simplified Chinese resources on the website. You can also share these with friends who might be interested in kindergarten.
Anne is now attending the Four-Year-Old Kindergarten. All the skills she is learning means that she is becoming more independent, and we know she will be ready when she starts school next year.
