ਕਿੰਡਰ ਦੇ ਲਾਭ

ਹੈਲੋ, ਮੈਂ ਗਗਨ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ 18 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿੰਡਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਸਰੀ ਜਮਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ।

ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਮਿਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿੰਡਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਸੁਭਾਵਕ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਬੇਟੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਮਿਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਵਾਸਤੇ, ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਿਤਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਹੋਣ।

ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਿਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਸਨ, ਮਿਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਨੇ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਿੱਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕਲਪਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਚਾਈਲਡ ਕੇਅਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਤਿੰਨ-ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈਕਿੰਡਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿੰਡਰ ਵਿਚ ਕੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਨਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ, ਜਾਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖੇ ਸਨ, ਜਾਂ ਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਉਣਾ ਉਹ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿੰਡਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੁਨਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਜੋ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਦੂਜੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਲਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਖੇਡਣਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ। ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਲਈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਪਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

ਸਟਾਫ ਨੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਉੱ ਥੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ-ਸਾਲਾ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿੰਡਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤਕ ਉਹ ਸਕੂਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ, ਉਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਕਿੰਡਰਗਾਰਟਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Hi, I’m Gagan. I live with my husband and four kids in Melbourne. We’ve been in Australia for over 18 years.

All my kids have gone through Three-Year-Old Kinder Program. Now the youngest ones Mehar and Vismaad are in Grade 1 and 3.

It was natural for us to enrol Mehar and Vismaad in Three-Year-Old kinder Program as our eldest son daughters went through the program. We found it helped him them a lot.

For Mehar and Vismaad, it was important to us they spent time with other children and had their own friends.

These programs are run by a teacher and approved by the government. While they were there, Mehar and Vismaad learnt lots of different things while playing and got to use their imaginations. We chose to enrol them at a childcare that runs a Three-Year-Old Kinder program.

Every day they would come home and tell us all about what they had learnt at kinder. Whether it’s new words they picked up, names of new friends, or songs and rhymes they would love to repeat.

I think one of the most important skills they learned at Three-Year-Old Kinder Program was how to play and talk with other children and adults. For example, they learnt how to politely yet confidently express themselves when someone said or did something they did not like.

The staff really cared about the children and Mehar and Vismaad were very happy to go there and were always excited to go back.

After sending them through Three-Year-Old Kinder Program we were confident by the time they started school, they would definitely be ready.

Starting a quality kindergarten program at an earlier age leads to even more positive effects on child development.
