Pat Kennedy:
Hi, I’m Pat Kennedy. I teach at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Ocean Grove.
I am really passionate about teaching mathematics. I think it gives students such a good opportunity to really show their learning in so many different ways, and I really love seeing students engage, and when they get that little light bulb moment that they understand a new topic that they haven’t gotten when they’re developing that confidence.
I’m really passionate about well-being in mathematics and maths anxiety, and how we can help all students access learning and then develop their learning as they’re going through the years.
I’m really excited for the ambassador role. I’m really excited to network with a range of different schools across both the Catholic, State and Independent sectors, and really excited to work as a team with the other three ambassadors as well.
