Remade for Trades program

Tradeswomen Australia’s Remade for Trades program is an initiative that aims to address financial barriers to women taking part in trades.

Tradeswomen Australia’s Remade for Trades program is an initiative that aims to address financial barriers to women taking part in trades. Through a free and flexible short course, it helps women experiencing hardship to enter trades roles.

It has a particular focus on women from First Nations, refugee, asylum-seeking and/or culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

This program gives women:

After completing the course, participants can join an online peer support network and receive free mentoring.

Tradeswomen Australia also provides financial support for participants to get to the course and provides free childcare.
