Andrew Fuller and Parents Victoria Vodcast Series
Join Andrew Fuller, Clinical Psychologist as he is interviewed by Gail McHardy from Parents Victoria. In this series of 6 short interviews, Andrew discusses the role of parents in bullying prevention and the importance of building resilience in kids.
Parents Victoria
Parents Victoria is a state-wide democratic organisation representing parents of students in Victorian government schools. Parents Victoria provide information and guidance to parents of government school children, develop strategies with other education stakeholders to increase parental involvement in school education, facilitate parent forums on selected education issues and identify strategies to assist parents from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to participate in the education of their children and so on.
Parenting Research Centre
The Parenting Research Centre is dedicated to supporting parents through developing resources, programs and policies based on scientific evidence.
Raising Children Network
Raising Children Network is a website for Australian mothers, fathers, grandparents and anyone else who has responsibility for the care of children. RCN is a source of information for parents. The website includes a wide range of professionals and agencies who work with parents every day – general practitioners, maternal and child health nurses, child care workers, preschool teachers, school teachers, social workers, psychologists and so on.
eSafety for parents
The eSafety Commissioner’s website provides a range of different age appropriate resources for students, parents and teachers, designed to raise awareness of cyber security in students.
Parent support and assistance
Being a parent is a rewarding and sometimes difficult role. At times you might need extra support for you and your family. The parenting section supports parents to find helpful websites, telephone services, and translated resources.
