Enforcement action taken by the Regulatory Authority

The Victorian Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (VECRA) publishes details of all statutory sanctions in the public interest.

On this page

Soon, VECRA will publish compliance and enforcement action more regularly on this page.

This will ensure that VECRA meets Recommendation 17.4 of the Rapid Child Safety Review. The Review gave the Regulatory Authority 12 months to meet this recommendation.

Enforcement action focusses on deterring non-compliance to help keep early childhood education and care services safe and improve quality across the sector.

Over the next 12 months, new National and Victorian legislative changes will take effect. VECRA will publish more information about breaches and penalties to increase transparency and build trust.
