Purpose of travel

From 1 to 3 September 2019, I travelled to China to visit Beijing. The purpose of this travel was to meet with high level representatives of the Chinese government to pursue avenues of mutual benefit for Victoria and China. My travel demonstrated Victoria’s commitment to deepening our collaboration with China.

Benefits of travel to the state of Victoria

The travel further strengthened the already strong relationship the Victorian government has formed with China. The travel provided a forum to discuss and identify potential opportunities for Victoria China collaboration, as well as an opportunity to promote key sectoral strengths for Victoria.
